Privacy Policy
We built KodExport to give founders back control over their software. The same principle applies to your data — you should know exactly what we collect, why, and what we do with it. This policy covers kodexport.com and every service we run under it.
Who we are
KodExport is a service of Autodeus Technologies. When this policy says "KodExport," "we," "us," or "our," it means Autodeus Technologies and the team that runs kodexport.com. Our contact address for privacy matters is [email protected].
What we collect — and why
Information you give us directly
When you fill in the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, the URL of your app (if you provide one), and any message you write. We use this to respond to your enquiry, assess your project, and provide a quote. Nothing else.
When you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects your name, email address, and the answers to any intake questions you fill in. We receive that information in order to prepare for and run the call. Calendly's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data — you can read it at calendly.com/privacy.
If you become a client, we will ask for access to your live app (a shared login or read access to your Bubble, Framer, or Webflow workspace) so we can carry out the migration. We use that access solely to complete the work you have hired us for. We do not read, copy, or retain any of your users' personal data unless it is strictly required to complete the migration and you have explicitly authorised it.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Fonts, served directly from fonts.googleapis.com. Your browser makes a request to Google's servers to download the typefaces — Google may log that request. We do not load any analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising scripts on kodexport.com. We do not use cookies ourselves; Calendly's embedded widget may set cookies governed by Calendly's policy.
Our contact form is processed by a Cloudflare Worker. Cloudflare may log request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) in accordance with Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not have direct access to those logs.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiry and assess your project.
- Prepare and deliver a price quote.
- Schedule and run a consultation call if you book one.
- Carry out the migration work you have commissioned.
- Send you updates on your project's progress.
- Handle support questions during the aftercare period.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone. We do not use it to build profiles or run automated decision-making that affects you.
Who we share your data with
We share your information only with the people and services needed to run the business:
- Calendly — to schedule and run consultation calls. They receive your name, email, and any intake answers you provide.
- Cloudflare — to receive and forward contact form submissions. They process form requests through their network.
- Slack — contact form submissions trigger a notification to our private Slack workspace. The notification contains the information you submitted in the form. Slack's servers are in the United States.
- The developers doing your project — if the work requires contractor involvement beyond the core team, we will tell you. Contractors are bound by confidentiality obligations.
We do not share your data with anyone else without your explicit consent, unless required to by law.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry and project correspondence is retained for three years after our last interaction, then deleted. We keep this so we can answer questions about past projects and improve our process.
If you become a client, project records (scope documents, delivery notes, and communication) are retained for five years for accounting and warranty purposes.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see "Your rights" below). The only exception is records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices.
Where your data lives
Our team is distributed. Correspondence and project files are stored on services that may hold data in the United States, the European Union, or both. Where data crosses borders we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards required by applicable law.
Your rights
You can ask us, at any time and at no charge, to:
- Confirm whether we hold any personal data about you.
- Give you a copy of the data we hold.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your data (subject to any legal retention obligations).
- Restrict how we use your data while a complaint is pending.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Contact form submissions travel over HTTPS and are processed by Cloudflare before reaching us. Project files are stored behind authenticated access controls. We do not store payment card details — payments, if any, are handled by a third-party payment processor that is PCI-DSS compliant.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you have a concern about a specific piece of sensitive information, email us first and we will agree on a secure channel.
Children
KodExport is not directed at anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to this policy — for example, if we start using a new service that processes your data in a new way — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes we will email clients directly.
The previous version of any policy is available on request. Email us at [email protected].
