Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 June 2026

These are the terms that govern the relationship between you and KodExport. We have tried to write them in plain English — if something is unclear, just ask. Questions go to [email protected].

1. Who these terms apply to

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Autodeus Technologies, the company behind KodExport ("KodExport," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply whenever you use the kodexport.com website, request a quote, or engage us to carry out a migration project.

By submitting a contact form, booking a consultation, or paying an invoice from KodExport, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. What KodExport does

KodExport migrates no-code applications — built on platforms such as Bubble, Framer, or Webflow — into production-quality, custom codebases. A typical project delivers:

  • A Next.js (React) front end and Node.js back end, in TypeScript.
  • A PostgreSQL database populated with your migrated data.
  • The full codebase committed to a GitHub repository you own outright.
  • A working deployment of the migrated app on hosting you control.
  • A walkthrough session explaining what has been built and how to manage it.
  • A post-handoff support period (duration specified in your project quote).

The exact scope of each project — screens, integrations, data volume, and delivery timeline — is agreed in writing before any work begins and before any payment is taken.

3. Free tools and estimates

The tools on kodexport.com (single-page exports, health scans, and the price estimator) are provided free of charge, with no account required, and with no obligation to proceed further. We make no guarantee that the output of any free tool is complete or free of errors — they are diagnostic aids, not binding deliverables.

A price estimate from the estimator on this site is illustrative. Your actual project price is confirmed only in a written quote after a proper assessment of your app.

4. Quotes, scope, and starting work

After an initial consultation, we will send you a written project quote that covers: the fixed price, the payment schedule, the delivery timeline, and a specific list of what is included. Nothing is built until you sign off on the quote and make the first payment.

The scope described in the quote is the scope we will deliver. If you want to add screens, integrations, or features that were not in the original quote, we will price the addition separately and nothing extra is built until you have approved and paid for it.

5. Pricing and payment

All KodExport projects are priced at a single fixed fee agreed before work starts — there is no hourly billing, no metering, and no surprises on the final invoice. Indicative starting prices are shown on this site; your actual price depends on the complexity of your specific app.

Payments are typically structured as follows:

  • 50% on project kick-off — due before any migration work begins.
  • 50% on delivery — due when the migrated app is running on your hosting and has been reviewed by you.

For larger projects we may agree a different payment schedule, which will be stated in the quote. Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue unless otherwise agreed.

Prices on this site are in US dollars and are exclusive of any taxes. If taxes apply to your purchase under the laws of your jurisdiction, they are your responsibility.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Because our work is custom and begins immediately after the first payment, we do not offer refunds on deposits once work has started. If you cancel a project after the kick-off payment but before delivery, you are entitled to all work completed up to the cancellation date — we will hand over whatever has been built — but the deposit is non-refundable.

If we are unable to complete the project due to circumstances on our side, we will refund the proportion of work not yet delivered.

If you are unhappy with any part of the delivered work, the right course is the aftercare support period described in Section 8. We will make it right before asking for the final payment.

7. Your responsibilities

For the project to run on time and to scope, you agree to:

  • Provide us with sufficient access to your existing app (read access to your Bubble, Framer, or Webflow workspace, or equivalent) within two business days of project kick-off.
  • Give us access to any third-party services your app depends on (payment processors, email providers, etc.) where re-implementation requires it.
  • Respond to questions from our team within two business days. Delays in response may push back the delivery date; we will notify you if this happens.
  • Review the delivered app within the review window stated in the quote (typically five business days after delivery) and provide written sign-off or a list of items to fix.
  • Ensure that your use of the migrated app complies with all applicable laws, including data protection laws that apply to your users.

8. Aftercare and support

Each project includes a support period after handoff — 30, 60, or 90 days depending on the project tier, as stated in your quote. During this period, we will fix any defects in the delivered code at no extra charge. A defect is defined as behaviour that differs from what was specified in the agreed project scope.

The aftercare period does not cover new features, changes to scope, or issues arising from modifications made to the code by you or a third party after handoff. Those can be scoped and quoted as a new project.

9. Intellectual property

On receipt of final payment, you own the delivered codebase outright — 100%. We assign to you all intellectual property rights in the code we write for your project. You can host it anywhere, modify it freely, hire any developer to work on it, and use it for any lawful purpose. You are not required to credit KodExport.

We retain the right to describe the nature of the work (e.g., "we migrated a marketplace app from Bubble to Next.js") in marketing materials, unless you ask us not to in writing before the project starts.

You warrant that you have the right to give us access to the existing app and its content, and that doing so does not infringe any third party's rights.

10. Confidentiality

We treat your app, its features, your user data, and any business information you share with us as confidential. We will not share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.

If you would like a formal non-disclosure agreement before sharing sensitive details, we are happy to sign one. Just ask at the beginning of the conversation.

11. Warranties and disclaimers

We warrant that the delivered code will perform the functions described in the agreed project scope, and that we will address any defects reported during the aftercare period.

We do not warrant that the migrated app will be free of all bugs forever, that it will be compatible with future changes made by third-party platforms or service providers, or that it will meet regulatory requirements specific to your industry (you are responsible for legal compliance in your jurisdiction).

The free tools on this site are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. They are diagnostic aids and their output should not be relied upon as a complete technical assessment.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KodExport's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to a project will not exceed the total fees paid by you for that specific project.

We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will do our best to resolve it quickly and fairly, without involving lawyers.

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 30 days, either party may refer it to binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction in which Autodeus Technologies is registered, which shall also be the governing law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, for active clients, send an email notice. Continued use of kodexport.com after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. The version in effect when your project quote was issued governs that project.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the written project quote for your specific project, form the entire agreement between you and KodExport. They replace any prior discussions, representations, or agreements about the same subject matter.

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A waiver of any right in these Terms is not a waiver of any other right.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms? Email [email protected]. We are a small team and we read everything.
